Tip #1 - Eyeshadow
The eyes are the windows of the soul, so have lots of fun and give them extra attention.
- Use an eye shadow brush to apply the lightest shade all over the eyelid from lash line to brow bone.
- Take the medium shade and apply it on the lid and blend towards the crease.
- For the sexy smokey eye place the third deeper shade on the crease of the eye or on the outer corner of the eyes, stop right at the iris and blend.
- After the eyes are completed take your lightest shadow with a cotton swabs and dab the shadow in the inner corner for a gorgeous finish.
Tip #2 - Eyeliner
You can use liquid eyeliner or a pencil to define the shape of the eye or to create a different effect.
- Use your finger to anchor the eyebrow and make the skin taut, for a precise line.
- After applying your eyeliner pencil take and dark colored shadow and with a cotton swab go over the line with the shadow. This prevents liner from running.
- Most eye shadows can be used wet as eyeliner.
Tip #3 - Mascara
All eyes should give a flirtatious and gorgeous look, so have fun! Lashes look best when they are darker then the eyebrows and here you can’t go wrong with black or brown.
- Several coats of mascara will allow a false lash effect.
- Do not! Pump the mascara in and out several times it only dries the mascara out.
- Always curl your lashes it will only make your eyes look bigger.
- If you use waterproof mascara be sure to use a waterproof remover!
Tip #4 - Cheeks
Blush is for the most part very important because it sculpts the face and gives it life.
- Smile in front of the mirror and on the apples of the cheek blend your blush.
- Start light keep building until you’ve achieve the shade of choice.
- Bronzer, shimmer powders can be dusted on chin, forehead, and nose anywhere you want a glowing effect.
Tip #5 - Eyebrows
The eyes need a frame to balance. It’s important to keep the brows in place.
- Blend a pencil for a defined look.
- Use a shadow for a softer look.
- Use stencils for a perfect shape.
Tip #6 - Foundations
Foundations are meant to even out your skin tone; they should be a little more yellow than pink for a flawless tone.
